Name = Halma 1.1.1.sit
Path = AMUG CD:Files:Game:H-L:Halma 1.1.1.sit
Size: 84K Date: 6/17/94 Version: 1.1.1
Description:
Halma 1.1.1 - Halma is a board game played with nine pieces on a variety of
different boards. Regardless of the size of the board, the nine pieces will
start in a nice little 3 x 3 square in the bottom-left corner of the board,
and your goal is to move them to the 3 x 3 square in the opposite
(top-right) corner. The fun of Halma lies in discovering the minimum number
of moves to solve a particular board. As you play, the computer will keep
track of how many moves you’ve taken. Obviously, the lower your score, the
better. A valid move is (1) a chain of jumps over other pieces vertically,
horizontally, or diagonally to other unoccupied spaces on the board, or (2)
a single-space step in any direction to any unoccupied space.

Name = Mancala 1.0.sit
Path = AMUG CD:Files:Game:M:Mancala 1.0.sit
Size: 87K Date: 6/09/94 Version: 1.0
Description:
Mancala 1.0 - Although I am not entirely sure of the origins, it is said to
simply be an African stone game. The point of the game is to be the one who
ends up with the most stones in his/her Mancala. The play goes
counter-clockwise around the board. At the beginning of the game by default
each player has 4 beads in each bin. (This number is changeable in
Preferences) Player one begins the game by taking all the beads from one of
his/her bins, and ‘sowing’ them counter clockwise around the board. While
going around the board, a player places a stone in his/her Mancala, but not
the opponents Mancala. The person with the most beads at the end wins. I
don't think the African's ever played this on a Mac!
Name = MacMines 2.04.sit

if a square has a 2 in it, there are two mines in the 8 surrounding
squares. Your job is to use the information provided by these numbers to
correctly locate all the mines on the playing field. You can pick from many
field sizes (or custom), have craters, moving mines and a randomizer, use a
pause button, and use special keys to uncover a square, mark it as a mine
or mark as questioned. High scores and statistics are saved!

SpiderWeb 1.3 - SpiderWeb is an interesting game for adults and children.
It is played on a random grid of dots. Each player, during his or her turn,
must draw a line that connects two of the dots. It must be a new line and

line closes a triangle, the player scores a point, and gets to go again.
Each game creates a very different pattern of triangles by the end. You can
choose how many dots to work with, and change the dot pattern. Your
opponent is always the Mac.

Chiral Installer 1.00 - From the authors of the highly-acclaimed game
Maelstrom comes a new action puzzler entitled Chiral! Webster defines
Chiral as “a kind of symmetry found in atomic particles that is not
superimposable on its mirror image.” Ambrosia redefines this dry scientific
adjective with a mind melter of a puzzle game. Chiral continues Ambrosia
Software’s commitment to pulse quickening, high quality Macintosh games.
Chiral is an amalgamation of high resolution 256 color graphics, funky
digitized sound effects and addictively puzzling game play. Forming bonds
between each atom to create inert molecules is the only safe way, but not
to worry, a doctorate in atomic chemistry is not needed to play!

Description:
Solitaire of Champions1.0 - This version of Solitaire is very different
from what you may be used to. At the beginning of a game, the entire deck
of cards is dealt out, face up, in four rows. Then, the Aces are removed.
This makes four "holes" in the deck. The object of the game is to line the
cards up starting with twos on the left. The cards must also be lined up by
suit. For example, the three of clubs should follow the two of clubs. In
the case of a "hole" on the far left, you may place a two (of any suit)
there. One consequence of these rules is that any holes directly to the
right of a King are "dead." After all, what card goes after a King? Try it!

to explore its existense. The deck consists of five each of five cards. The
cards are shuffled and presented one at a time. The player must guess the
next card to be drawn. Choose the guess by clicking on the icon of the
card. (Number of right guesses is kept track of). The deck is reshuffled
after each 25 cards. The cards and statistics may be hidden if they are
distracting. Statistical normal is one correct guess out of five. If you

nothing more than a concentration game with 52 cards, 2 players, and a

Description:
Blockade 0.91 - Blockades is a color (or b/w) game where (basically) you
push blocks around a screen to try to get rid of all of them. Sound easy?
It is not. Blocks come in two colors and four shapes - square, ring, plus
and diamond. That's also the hierarchy in which the blocks are ordered,
with diamond being the highest block. Pushing two blocks together of the
same order but of opposite color transmogrifies the two blocks into one
block of the next lowest order, or in the case of pushing two squares
together, both will disappear. The hard part is that you have to push
blocks of opposite color together, and sometimes the blocks get stuck up
against walls. The music is enjoyable, as is the game.
